The restraints have a clearance (9,10) beneath the bearing faces. The restraints can be designed as holding wedges (7,8) with downwardly inclined teeth (7a,8a) or as a sepg. cutter. They can be adjusted to different sheet formats by adjustors. The printed sheets (1a) are supported in the magazine by their edges against the teeth of the wedges. When seized by suction elements the sheet is drawn along down to the clearance underneath the restraints ensuring reliable sepn. USE/ADVANTAGE - High operating speeds can be achieved even when handling flimsy sheets without danger of damaging next following sheet.
