A compound of formula (I), the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, wherein Q, R?17, R18 and R1¿ are as defined below. The compounds of formula (I) are inhibitors of acyl coenzyme A: cholesterol acyltransferase (ACAT) and are useful as hypolipidemic and antiatherosclerosis agents.
