Knitter yarn laying and guide unit which is simple and cheap - composed of a plastics component with segment body and guides in a one-piece injection moulded structure

The component has a segment body (1) to form a laying bar with projecting yarn guides (2) in a single plastics unit, pref. formed by injection moulding. The guides (1) at the segment body (1) are arranged at the periphery and aligned pref. at least partially at an angle to the plane of the segment body (1). The segment body (1) can have a projecting strap across or along the guide line (14), for the guides (2), at the outer edge of the body (1) and with an angled end face in relation to the leading (6) and or trailing side of the body (1). The guides (2) are circular, oval and/or longitudinal channels, drillings, slits or gaps in the segment body (1) and pref its projection. The guide gap, laterally or at an angle to the guide line (14), has a narrowing and/or one or more bulbs and/or chamfers at their inner walls. The guide channel has a projecting and integrated small tube at the segment body (1). The guides (2) are in parallel rows, matching the needle interval, have the two guides at the start and end of each row at a gap from the outer edge of the segment body (1) which is equal to half the needle interval. USE/ADVANTAGE - The component is for laying and/or guiding yarns in a knitter, working with the needles, and also in warp knitters. The unit is simple and cheap, and can be assembled and dismantled easily and rapidly, to give a long life an accurate working.
