The appts. has a pressure tube (1) to whose front end is secured a spray nozzle, while its rear end has a releasable coupling to a pressure hose. The pressure tube is surrounded by a plastics protection tube, spaced by end studs. To the pressure tube rear end is secured a metal tube section (2) with the rear stud (7). The outer surface of the screw-down metal tube section has sharp edges (8) dimensioned and aligned such that the rear stud can be inserted onto the metal tube section from the front and secured there. Pref. the rear stud has an inner flat insertable on a six-flat metal tube section. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple assembly and reliable coupling of spray tube for high pressure cleaning appts.
