The front and back covers (10) form the back of the folder (14) creating joining grooves. Transverse to the folder back is a clamp (28) which slides between open and closed positions. The clamp is made of two elastic, expandable arms (30,32) gripping the back cover and a clamping rib (34) on a holding strip (16) on the writing paper. The strip has a movable curved edge (22') whose border (46) lies inclined away from the back cover. In the open position, the clamp is stopped against the long face (50) of the curved axis (26) on the holding strip. USE/ADVANTAGE - For documents of any sort. Material fatigue in the curved axis area is reduced so giving the folder a longer life.
