Biologically degradable component is made of clarified sludge held together with a degradable binder such as a polymer material. The binder is pref. gypsum, esp. that obtained from off-gas desulphurising plants. The body can be reinforced with fibre or any other stiffening material. Any non-dangerous additive and/or filler can be added to the sludge together with a perfume. The body is in the shape of a coffin with biodegradable inner and outer hinges made esp. of real or artifical wood veneer. USE/ADVANTAGE - As container for parts to be dump in land fills, as container for plants and as construction elements for use in the earth such as lava flow stoppers, birds nest stoppers and drainage pieces. Uses a material which is widely produced as a residue of other processes.
