The clamping fastening is for a window pane in a window raising frame. Essentially flat clamping surfaces (61,62) of a clamping cheek (31) extend parallel to the support axis (4) and transversely thereto in at least two series arranged one behind the other. The neighbouring series of the clamping surfaces, viewed outwardly from the window pane (1,2) together form an obtuse angle alpha. An elastomer (7) is arranged between the clamping surfaces and the glass.
