Colour photographic material has a film base with light-sensitive Ag halide emulsion coat(s) associated with a colourless cyan DIR coupler, which is an electron acceptor-substd. 4-(azol-1-tl)-10naphthol or 5(8)-(azol-1-yl)-8(5)-hydroxy-(iso)quinoline cpd. of formula (I). A = an electron acceptor gp.; Az = a gp. completing an azole ring, opt. with a condensed 50 or 6-membered carbocyclic or heterocyclic ring; Q = a gp. completing a condensed benzene or pyridine ring. More sp. (I) is a triazolyl-substd. cpd. of formula (Ia): 2 of L1-4 = N and the other 2 = C-R1; R1 = H, alkyl, alkylthio, aryl, heterocyclyl or -COOR2; R2 = alkyl or aryl.
