The troughs (14) of the pallet (7) widen out downwards when the pallet is tilted. A conveyor belt (1) for the bags in the pallet area passes M-fashion round a movable upper (4), movable centre (5) and lower guide pulley (6). The horizontal distance between the upper and lower pulleys corresponds at least to the length of the pallet. The upper guide pulley is set above the pallet and when the upper and centre pulleys move along the conveyor direction of the belt the belt can move over the pallet. The initially narrow cross-section of the troughs ensures the bags are specifically arranged in position. USE/ADVANTAGE - Bags are reliably moved on without danger of damp bags sticking to trough walls. Faster packing speeds are obtained.
