The orthopaedic support (10) is for an injured or paralysed hand (12). It incorporates a cuff (32) fitting round the user's wrist and connected to straps (28,30) for the individual fingers. At the ends of the straps there may be stiff tubes surrounding the finger ends. There are support straps extending over the back of the hand and the first joint of the fingers.
