<p>A hinge for hanging a door or flap on a supporting wall of a carcase part is provided with a pot-shaped, pivotable hinge part and with a hinge arm which can be fastened by means of a supporting plate to a supporting wall, these being connected to each other in an articulated manner by two connecting rods. In order to permit the door to be opened wide without impediment even when it has, for example, a large thickness or is provided with decorative mouldings, a connecting rod (3) for the pivot pin (5) mounting this on the hinge arm (6) is extended and, in the region of this extension (11) is connected, either in an articulated manner by a connecting rod (36) forming a coupler, or by a slot-shaped guide of the extension with at least one bolt engaging into the latter, to the supporting plate or to an intermediate plate (16) which can be connected to the latter, in such a manner that, when the connecting rod (3) is pivoted, the hinge arm (6) is retained by bolt/slot guides in a pivotable and longitudinally displaceable manner on the supporting plate or the intermediate plate. …<IMAGE>… </p> |
