TUBULAR MOLDED BODY AND COVER BOOT

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a cover boot excellent in high humidity oil resistance without impairing flexibility by using polyester copoymer composed of specified constituent composition where polyester is blended with polycarboxylic imido. CONSTITUTION:Polyester copolymer is comprised of aromatic polyester segment which consists of acid constituent mainly composed of terephthalic acid, and of diol constituent mainly composed of ethyle glycol, and is comprised of aliphalic segment obtained from luctone monomer. And the aforesaid polyester copolymer includes 10 to 70 parts of polyester copolymer A by weight including 20 to 70% aliphatic segment by weight, and polyester B composed of aliphatic di-carboxylic acid represented by a formula I (where n represents integers of O to 10) including 90 to 30 parts of polyester constituent by weight. In addition, the aforesaid polyester copolymer is let to include 0.3 to 5.0 parts of polycarboxylic imido per 100 parts of polyester constituent by weight so as to be formed into polyester copolymer composition. A cover boot 1 is made out of the aforesaid composition where at least a part of the boot is formed into a bellows.
