PURPOSE:To lighten the load of a display field define deck for generating area information by generating the display area information on the basis of the display position information of a display picture the display field define deck holds for every item. CONSTITUTION:This equipment is provided with a reading part 1 to read the entry data of a business form by every item, the display field define deck 2 having the display picture information of every item for displaying picture items to constitute the display picture and the information of the position and the size of an input area to be key-inputted in accordance with the items, a display device 41, a neighboring item retrieving part 3, and a screen display part 4 to display data the reading part 1 has read in a data display area on the display device 41. Then, by retrieving the display position information of the item neighboring in the line direction and the row direction of that item on the display screen on the basis of the display position information of the display picture the display field define deck 2 holds for every item, the neighboring item retrieving part 3 generates the display area information for displaying the data the reader 1 has read on the display device 41. |
