PURPOSE:To decrease the frequency of dictionary retrieval and improve the analytic efficiency by deciding whether or not the morpheme of a cut character string is con nected to the morpheme which is identified last by referring to a specific connection table. CONSTITUTION:The Japanese morpheme analytic system and morpheme analytic system admit that plural successive words in a dictionary 10 are registered in a dictionary together as one index, and deforms the segmented character string into the format of the dictionary registration by inflection 3. Inflection information estimated at the time of the inflection 3 is used to decide whether or not the part of speech, etc., of the aimed morpheme to be identified which correspond to the segmented character string is connected to the part of speech, inflection type, and inflection form of the last identified morpheme. When it is decided that the connection is possible, it is decided whether or not the part of speech and inflection type of a morpheme obtained by retrieving the dictionary as to a corresponding morpheme candidate can be connected to the part of speech, inflection type, and inflection form of the last identified morpheme, thereby identifying the morpheme corresponding to the segmented character string. |
