PURPOSE:To generate converged ultrasonic waves from an array type ultrasonic probe without causing any fluctuation of wiring length between channels. CONSTITUTION:When, for example, phase-controlled ultrasonic wave generating timing signals of twenty-four channels are supplied to IC switches 23X (X:1-24) after the signals are transmitted through an input bus 22, one of the switches 23X is maintained in a turned-on state, but the signals can be outputted to an output bus 24 without hardly changing the phase-difference relation among the signals after the arrangement of channels is changed in the switch in a fixed state and, at the same time, in a different way from those performed in the other switches. |
