PURPOSE:To improve warming up performance by motor-driving a rotary electric machine installed in a turbo charger in cold starting of a diesel engine. CONSTITUTION:A rotary electric machine 3 is disposed in a turbo charger 1 installed on an engine 2. Immediately after cold starting of the engine, output of an AC power generator 6 is supplied as a power source to the rotary electric machine 3 for motor-driving, and friction of the engine 2 is increased to increase fuel flow, and thereby warming up performance is improved. |
