PURPOSE:To make a delicate decision as to whether a through-hole is opened enough not to hinder the insertion of a part. CONSTITUTION:By the action of an image reading device 200, an extension circuit 300, an OR circuit 101 and a logic circuit 103, a differential image signal DIFS representing clogging of a through-hole by burrs or the like is obtained. An operator OP of the predetermined size is allowed to act on the differential image signal DIFS by a two-dimensional shift register 400 and an operator circuit 500. When an area (image area EI) where the differential image signal DIFS shows a value '1' includes the operator OP, the through-hole is determined to be defective with respect to clogging. Since the operator is used as a reference and the through-hole having the larger clogging than the operator is determined to be a failure, a delicate determination becomes possible. |
