PURPOSE:To prevent an error in the actual number of copies and to sum up data from a copy controller which a copying machine is using. CONSTITUTION:The centralized controller of the copying machine is provided with the copy controller 8 which stores the number of copies made by the copying machine 1 and a summing up controller 5 which sums up from the copy controller 8 the number of copies made by the copying machine 1. The copy controller 8 is provided with a storage means for storing the number of copies made by the copying machine 1 and a buffer for temporarily stores the number of copies made by the copying machine 1. When the copying machine 1 receives a demand for data on the number of copies from the summing up controller 5 during the copying, the number of copies stored so far in the storage means is transmitted to the summing up controller 5, and the number of copies to be made thereafter is stored in the buffer. |
