DATA PROCESSING METHOD AND SYSTEM DISCRIMINATING AUDIO RESPONSE OF PLURALITY OF PROCESSING

PURPOSE: To provide a method and system for 'speaking' to a user about one process at once through the voice outputting device of a data processing system which can execute a plurality of processes in which audio responses are respectively produced. CONSTITUTION: The audio response of each process while first to third application programs 35, 37, and 39 are executed is intercepted by means of a sequencer 43 and the sequencer 43 decides whether or not a voice outputting device containing a voice buffer 41 is accessible. When the buffer 41 is usable, the sequencer 43 supplies the intercepted audio response to the buffer 41. Whether or not the buffer 41 is usable is decided by means of a delay suspension monitor 45 and, when the buffer 41 is unusable, the sequencer 43 delays the supply of the audio response until the buffer 41 becomes usable and a specific speaking through the buffer 41 is informed to a user through an informing stack cue 49 and a user request interface 53 so that the user can discriminate the process.
