PURPOSE:To obtain an adsorptive carrier which can be easily manufactured, has excellent reproducibility, durability, and asymmetry identifying ability, and can be applied to a wide range of optically active compounds by immobilizing an optically active di-substituted ethylenediamine derivative modified by optically active naphthylethyl isocyanate to an insoluble carrier. CONSTITUTION:The title adsorptive carrier is obtained by linking a di- substituted ethylenediamine derivative obtained by making one or both of amino groups having optically active di-substituted ethylenediamine in which a substituent is linked with two carbon atoms of ethylenediamine and which has two symmetric carbon atoms to react and link to the isocyanate part of naphthylethyl isocyanate to a water-insoluble carrier having a functional group, such as carboxylic group, in a suitable solvent by using a catalyzer or reactive reagent. This carrier has excellent reproducibility and durability and the column filled with this carrier can separate various kinds of isomers including not only optical isomers, but also the positional and geometrical isomers of substituted benzene. |
