PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the area of as memory whose capacity is restricted and to register an image forming mode. CONSTITUTION:When the content of a copying mode which is used this time is included in the copying modes which are already stored in a RAM 302, the registration code thereof is displayed on a registration code display device by a CPU 300. When it does not exist in the copying modes which are already stored in the RAM 302, it is discriminated by the CPU 300 whether a vacant registration area exists or not. When there is not the vacant registration area, the area is deleted in which the oldest copying mode is stored. Next, the content of the copying mode which is used this time is stored in the vacant area. Then, the registration code is set and displayed on the registration code display device. |
