<p>PURPOSE:To provide the active matrix type image display panel which is superior in picture quality and response speed and its manufacture. CONSTITUTION:The active matrix type image display panel is equipped with switching elements, arranged in matrix corresponding to pixel density, and a driving circuit which drives the switching elements on the same glass substrate 3; and thin film transistor arrays 41 and 1 constituting principal parts of the switching elements and driving circuit both use polysilicon for active layers 42 and 52 and the active layer 42 of the driving circuit is set thicker than the active layer 52 of the switching elements. Consequently, the reduction of the OFF current of the transistors for the switching elements and the high mobility of the transistors of the driving circuit are both enabled.</p> |
