PURPOSE:To make the whole of an image device compact by executing an image exposure for forming, at least, a kind of electrostatic latent image, out of plural kinds of electrostatic latent image, by means of the transmission of a conducting substrate having light transmissivity. CONSTITUTION:A movable belt photosensitive body 1 as a belt-like image forming body, is stretched between a driving roller 2 and a driven roller 3 and carried clockwise. For the belt photosensitive body 1, a transparent base 1a is used, and coated with a photosensitive layer 1b. On the other hand, as the transparent base 1a of the conducting substrate, a polyester material is used, and as the photosensitive layer 1b, one mainly composed of a carrier generating layer and a carrier transporting layer, is formed. Thus, for the base of the belt photosensitive body 1, the transparent base 1a is used, and an image forming body having the formation of the photosensitive layer 1b on the transparent base 1a, is formed. An exposure is attained from the rear side of the belt photosensitive body 1 endlessly formed, that is, the side of the transparent base 1a. Therefore, an exposing means can be provided inside the belt photosensitive body 1. |
