PURPOSE:To exactly detect interior chamber temp. by a temp. sensor even at the time of defrosting by locating the temp. sensor for detecting the interior chamber temp. in a space between a cooling cover for a cooling part and a top surface plate. CONSTITUTION:In a refrigerator provided with a condensing unit consisting of a compressor 2, a condenser 3 and a fan 4 for cooling the condenser at its upper part, a refrigerator 5 at the lower part thereof and a cooler 6 having disposed in contact with its inside an evaporator 6A forming a refrigerating cycle with the condensing unit at the interior upper part of the refrigerator 5, the cooler 6 is covered with a cooling cover 10 and a top surface plate 14 is provided and spaced apart forwardly and downwardly from the cooling cover 10. In such a structure as this, a temp. sensor 20 is provided in a first space S1 between the cooling cover 10 and the top surface plate 14 via a central mounting plate in heat transferring relationship with the top surface plate 14. The operation of the compressor 2 is controlled according to the interior refrigerator temp. detected by the temp. sensor 20. |
