PURPOSE:To intelligibly report the cause of and the counter-measure against a communication fault to a user by discriminating whether the communication fault is caused by the abnormality on the reception side or interception of an optical path with respect to optical communication. CONSTITUTION:With respect to the information processor which consists of plural devices and has a function to perform communication between at least two devices by using light, a device 121 (printer) as the reception side is provided with a transmission means 131 (radio transmission part) which uses a radiation other than light to transmit a signal to a device 101 (word processor main body) as the transmission side, and the device 101 as the transmission side is provided with a reception means 118 (radio reception part), which receives the signal transmitted from the transmission means of the device 121 as the reception side, and a report means 113 (display device) which reports report information different between reception and non-reception of the signal in the reception means in the case that optical communication to the device 121 as the reception side is impossible. |
