PURPOSE:To generate easy-to-see graphics and characters at a high speed by reproducing no outline if a developed outline is small. CONSTITUTION:Vector data obtained from the outline of an image obtained from input equipment such as a scanner and a camera are stored in a vector data storage part. Then when the image is reproduced at a 1/4 enlargement rate, it is judged that an outline obtained by developing vector data obtained from outlines (b) and (c) among outlines developed from vector data obtained from an outline (a) is large, so a painting-out process is carried out and the outline is written in a bit map memory. It is judged that an outline obtained by developing vector data obtained from an outline (d) is small and this outline is not reproduced. Therefore, there is no shape disorder and the painting-out process and a process for writing to the bit map memory are omitted. |
