<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a method for producing a fiber composite sheet, composed of aromatic polymer fiber, excellent in mechanical strength, heat and chemical resistance and flame retardancy, having high productivity and good in operating efficiency. CONSTITUTION:The objective fiber composite sheet is obtained by preparing a sheetlike material from at least one fiber selected from aromatic polymer fiber having thioether bond or ether bond in the main chain and aromatic polymer fiber having sulfone bond in the main chain, then applying an emulsion of a chlorosulfonated polyethylene and/or a chlorinated polyethylene as a binder to the sheetlike material and subsequently dry solidifying the emulsion.</p> |
