<p>PURPOSE:To smoothly carry a sheet to a fixing unit without causing a trouble such as rubbing an image, in an electrophotographic device which guides the sheet subjected to transfer to the fixing unit by the use of the bottom of an image formation case which houses several image formation means. CONSTITUTION:Two ribs 35 are provided on the bottom 19a of the image formation base 19 in such a manner that they can freely move in the direction of the width of a sheet S, in a B direction. At the time of recording, the ribs 35 are moved according to the width of the sheet S and prepositioned outside the image formation area of the sheet S which is to be passed after transfer. Therefore, when being carried to the fixing unit 23 after the transfer, the sheet S is guided along the bottom 19a of the image formation case 19 and is led to the fixing unit 23 by the ribs 35 on this side of the fixing unit 23. Even the sheet S is curling at that time, the upward curling of its rear end is restricted by the ribs 35.</p> |
