<p>PURPOSE:To achieve a smaller and a low cost stably for a long time within a wide temperature range without using a costly magnet for a transmitting element of a magnetic sensor. CONSTITUTION:An oscillation coil 12 and an exciting coil 14 are wound on a magnetosensitive body 11 comprising an amorphous metal fiber and the exciting coil 14 is driven with an oscillation circuit 15. An output of a pulse associated with a Barkhausen jump from a detection coil 12 stops as ferromagnetic bodies 25 and 26 of a flowmeter rotor 20 approach the magnetosensitive body 11. Thus, a flow rate pulse is outputted according to the passage of the ferromagnetic bodies 25 and 26 through a waveform shaping circuit 17 and a retrigger type monomultibirator 18 which outputs a pulse with the width thereof larger slightly than an exciting cycle.</p> |
