PURPOSE:To simultaneously pasteurize and deodorize an air conditioner and an air conditioned room by so composing a vent passage as to shut off, introduce the atmosphere by switching a damper, and mounting an ozone generator in the conditioner. CONSTITUTION:Before a normal air conditioning operation is started, a damper 8C is, for example, opened at night in which no person exists, dampers 8a, 8b are closed, and an ozone generator 7 and a fan 6 are started. Thus, ozone generated by the generator 7 is circulated along a broken line A between an interior of an air conditioner 1 and a room 2 to pasteurize generated microorganism and to deodorize odor. After the pasteurization and deodorization are finished, the generator 7 is stopped, dampers 8a, 8b are opened, the damper 8C is closed, and the ozone remaining in the conditioner 1 and the room 2 is discharged by the atmosphere introduced by the fan 6. Then, the dampers 8a, 8b, 8c are opened, and the atmosphere introduced from the exterior is introduced into the room 2 through the conditioner 1 to perform normal air conditioning. |
