PURPOSE:To provide a document preparing device by which the input of a character in a ruled line block can be easily executed. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a ruled line block preparing means 2, and a character string inputting means 3. And also the device is provided with a ruled line block input judging means 6 which compares the number of characters to be inputted to one line of the ruled line block prepared by the ruled line block preparing means 2 with the number of characters of a character string to be inputted to the ruled line block, and judges the validity of the input of the character string to the ruled line block, and a ruled line block extending means 5 which extends the ruled line block when the input of the character string is judged to be invalid by the ruled line block input judging means 6. When the number of characters to be written in one line in the ruled line block is less than the number of characters of the character string to be inputted, the ruled line block is automatically extended. |
