A flexible strip fastener comprises an elongated sheet 43 of flexible plastics material having a pair of co-operating fastener elements 44, 45 extending along its length on the same side of the sheet and spaced inwardly from the respective edge of the sheet. As shown, and which the fastener elements 44, 45<SP>1</SP> are adapted to interlock when the sheet is folded over and attached to the top of a bag or pouch and the elements are pressed together, perforations 49, 50 are made by wheels 50, 51 at opposite sides of the fold to produce tear lines by means of which a strip 54 may be removed prior to separating the elements 44, 45 to open the bag or pouch. |
