发明名称 METHOD FOR ACYLATING AROMATIC COMPOUND
摘要 PURPOSE:To carry out the acylation of an aromatic compound by using a recoverable Lewis acid catalyst. CONSTITUTION:The objective method for acylating an aromatic compound having at least one substitutable hydrogen in the aromatic ring is to use a rare earth-based catalyst expressed by the general formula RE(OSO2Rf)3 (RE is rare earth atom; Rf is perfluoroalkyl or perfluoroalkoxy) as a catalyst in a method for reacting the aromatic compound with an acylating agent in the presence of the catalyst and acylating the aromatic compound. Furthermore, this method for acylating the aromatic compound is to recover the rare earth- based catalyst after completing the reaction and reuse the recovered catalyst as the reactional catalyst. The catalyst which has hitherto been difficult to recover and reuse in the Friedel-Crafts reaction can be recovered and reused and this method has great industrial and practical value.
