DEVICE FOR PREVENTING ADHESION OF FOREIGN MATTER ON INSIDE SURFACE OF PIPE

PURPOSE:To provide the device which allows a traveling truck to travel smoothly with the rotating force of a propeller by the flow of fluid as driving power without being flushed by the fluid in a pipe, increases the flow velocity of the fluid in the pipe on the inside surface of the pipe by the high rigidity of the traveling truck itself and surely prevents the adhesion of foreign matter on the inside surface of the pipe by the brushes mounted to the traveling truck. CONSTITUTION:This device consists of the propeller 2 which is rotated by the flow of the fluid in the pipe A and the traveling truck 1 which has wheels 4 traveling in the pipe with the rotating power of the propeller 2 as driving power. The revolutions of the propeller 2 are transmitted to all the wheels 4 by a first gear mechanism for transmitting the revolutions to a revolving shaft 7 in such a manner that this shaft can rotate forward and backward and a second gear mechanism for transmitting the revolutions of the revolving shaft 7 to the wheels 4. The revolving shaft 7 is provided with a clutch 16 for changing over the revolutions thereof to forward and backward directions.
