PURPOSE:To measure the flapping quantity of the solid-state image pickup element with high accuracy by detecting a beat component based upon the difference between the picture element pitch of the solid-state image pickup element and the repeating pitch of the test pattern at both the sides of the image pickup screen. CONSTITUTION:The repeating pattern of a chart 10 for measuring the registration is picked up by CCD image sensors 31r, 31g and 31b through a master lens 20. First, while the beat component included in the picture output of the central part of the pattern is waveform-observed by an oscilloscope 44, position adjusting jigs 40r, 40g and 40b are operated, and the position of the sensors 31r, 31g and 31b is adjusted to the position of the just focus. Next, while the heat component included in the picture output of both side parts of the repeating pattern is waveform-observed b the oscilloscope 44, the jigs 40r, 40g and 40b are operated and the flapping of the sensors 31r, 31g and 31b is adjusted. |
