PURPOSE:To provide a feeding method of sheet-like member, in which the maintenance of a clutch is easy, by a method wherein the driving of a registering means can be finished only once at the registering of one sheet of sheet-like member. CONSTITUTION:The device concerned is equipped with a feed passage 204, through which sheet-like member is carried, a taking-out roller 202, which takes the sheet-like members one by one from a paper feeding cassette 36, a printing mechanism 14, which forms image on the surface of the sheet-like member carried in the feed passage, a pair of registering rollers 206 and 208, which interpose between the taking-out roller and the printing mechanism in the feed passage and checkably carries the sheet-like member so as to control the feeding timing to the printing mechanism, and a control board, which drives the taking- out roller for the first predtermined period of time before the feeding timing of the sheet-like member stopped by making its tip abut against the registering roller pair under the state of the stopped driving so as to feed the rear part of the sheet-like member. |
