PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of a synthetic fiber even under severe hot alkaline conditions and to improve the reinforcing effect at the time of using the synthetic fiber instead of asbestos fiber. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the synthetic-resin fiber having enough heat resistance to prevent the remarkable deterioration due to the heat generated when the cement is cured is coated with a cement admixture by which the alkaline component is easily digested by a C-H-S reaction in the curing of cement. The coated fiber is mixed into the cement admixture as the reinforcement, and the mixture is extruded. Consequently, the alkaline component is digested, and the fiber is unaffected by the alkaline component. |
