PURPOSE:To obtain a foaming inhibiting composition realizing chemical embossing with a superior printability and a high quality and having excellent characteristics even in safety and workability. CONSTITUTION:A foaming inhibiting sol composition used for chemically embossing a foamable polymer material is prepared by incorporating at least one selected out of groups made of 1-[N,N-bisalkl aminomethyl] benzotriazole compounds and 1-[N,N-bit(hydroxyalklene) aminomethyl] benzotriazole compounds as a foaming inhibitor.
