PURPOSE:To above mentioned casting mold material, having durability nearly the same or more compared with usual values in spite of low Cr contents and also, having a uniform Cr distribution and mechanical property, by adding Cr, Ti, Mg and Zr to Cu main material at a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:Casting mold material of continuous casting equipment, mainly composed of Cu added Cr; 0.35-0.70, Ti; 0.2-0.15, Mg; 0.02-2.0, and Zr; 0.04-0.20 by weight %. Also, inevitable mixing impurity component other than the above components, is made 0.1% or less by weight % preferably. Further, the reason why Cr addition ratio in the above composition is made 0.35-0.70wt%, is that maximum Cr addition amount not producing the segregation, is 0.70wt% and on the one hand, durability of Cr steel is remarkably improved by making Cr addition amount at 0.35wt% or more. |
