NEW AVERMECTIN DERIVATIVE, ITS PRODUCTION AND MICROORGANISM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING THE SANE

PURPOSE:To obtain a new avermectin derivative useful as an anthelmintic drug insecticide and an acaricide. CONSTITUTION:The avermectin derivative is expressed by formula I to III. This compound is obtained by culturing a microorganism capable of producing the avermectin derivative [e.g. Streptomyces.avermitilis K2057 (FERM P-12829)] in a culture medium, isolating and purifying the resultant culture. The culturing is preferably carried out at 25-35 deg.C and pH 5-9 for 120-240hr. A shaking culture or aeration culture is preferred as the method for culturing. A carbohydrate in an amount of 0.5-5% based on the weight of the culture medium is preferred as a carbon source to be added to the culture medium.
