APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING THERMOPLASTIC RESIN SHEET

PURPOSE:To alter the thicknesses of first and second resin layers and to produce a thermoplastic resin sheet generating no turbulence at the interface of both layers in producing the thermoplastic resin sheet wherein the second resin layer formed from a second resin is embedded in the first resin layer formed from a first resin. CONSTITUTION:The leading end part of a die plate 2 is positioned in the manifold 3 of a mold 1 and the die plate 2 is supported on the mold 1 in a movable manner. The gap (h) between the leading end part of the die plate 2 and the inner wall of the manifold 3 is changed by moving the die plate 2. By this constitution, the flow velocity ratio of first and second resins (a), (b) can be set to 1 and no turbulence is generated in the flow of the resins.
