PURPOSE:To low inertialise a table driving system and to attain high speed and high accuracy in a laser machining. CONSTITUTION:In a laser beam machine, a machining table 17 which supports a work W is provided freely movable in the X-axis direction and a machining head 27 by which the work is machined is provided freely movable in the Y-axis direction. A nut member 11 which is driven by a driving motor 15 through a rotation transmitting member 13 is provided on the machining table 17 and both ends of a screw member 9 which is fastened with a screw to the nut member 11 are fixed to a bed 7 which supports the machining table 17 freely movable. |
