PURPOSE:To increase air conditioning capacity without increasing the thickness of an air conditioner in the air conditioner employing cross flow fans. CONSTITUTION:An air inlet 3c is formed in the lower surface of one end side of a case 3, and a blow-off grill 4 is fitted onto the other end side. A first and a second cross flow fan 5 and 6 are disposed within the case 3, and a cooler 7 is provided so as to be positioned at the air outlet side of the first cross flow fan 5. And the axial center 5d of a first impeller 5a is positioned above the air inlet 3c, the axial center 6d of a second impeller 6a is positioned at a place higher than the axial center 5d of the first impeller 5a, a first cross flow fan is to be so constituted that its air inlet side is faced to the air inlet 3c, and its air outlet side is faced to the inside of the case 3, and a second cross flow fan 6 is to be so constituted that its air inlet side is faced to the underside of the case 3, and its outlet side is faced to the blow-off grill 4 side. |
