PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of an air cleaner and to improve the design characteristic thereof by providing a part to be engaged which is commonly usable for both for hanging on a wall and installation on a floor on the air cleaner body side. CONSTITUTION:The air cleaner body 1 is provided with the part 15 to be engaged which is selectively engaged to both of the engaging part of a fitting 16 for hanging on the wall and the engaging part of a floor stand. The part 15 to be engaged of the air cleaner body 1 is provided with a switching part which can be pressed to the engaging part of the fitting 16 for hanging on the wall to actuate the air cleaner body 1 only when the switching part comes into contact with the engaging part of the fitting 16 for hanging on the wall. Then, the construction and design are simplified without the need for providing separate parts for hanging on the wall and the installation on the floor. |
