<p>PURPOSE:To continuously and efficiently remove NOx with the device for treating the outdoor air taken into an air conditioner by molding active carbon to a cylindrical rotor and providing an adsorbing zone, regenerating zone and cooling zone. CONSTITUTION:The outdoor contg. the NOx and hydrocarbon is adsorbed away by the adsorbing zone 11 of a NOx removing rotor 1. The adsorbed contaminants are desorbed in the regenerating zone 12 by using the air heated with a heater 17. The NOx removing rotor 1 is heated to accumulate heat in the regenerating zone 12 and is therefore cooled by the cooling zone 13. The thermal load applied on the air conditioner is decreased and the energy to be used is decreased.</p> |
