<p>PURPOSE:To measure the surface temperature of a strip continuously with high accuracy without receiving the influence of cooling water. CONSTITUTION:This device consists of coolers 6A-6C for the lower surface of the strip provided between table rollers, table roller coolers 7A-7C provided in adjacent to them, thermometers 8A-8C which are provided near these coolers to measure the temperature of the strip 2 in noncontact state and a controller 11 to send on/off signals successively to each of these collers, to fetch output signals from the thermometers 8A-8C while these coolers are off and to display them on the indicator 12.</p> |
