PURPOSE:To obtain an industrial germicide useful as a slime controlling agent, an antiseptic or a mildewproofing agent especially for papermaking process water of paper and pulp plants, cooling water and washing water of various industries, showing strong and wide antimicrobial actions not obtained by N- bromoacetamide alone. CONSTITUTION:An industrial germicide comprises bromoacetamide and another industrial microbial component (selected from among alkylene bisthiocyanate- based compound, 3-isothiazolone-based compound, complex of 3-isothiazolone- based compound and metallic salt, thiadiazine-based compound, organic bromonitro-based compound, organic bromocyano-based compound, organic bromoacetate-based compound, organic bromosulfone-based compound, s-triazine- based compound, halogenated oxime-based compound, aminoalcohol-based compound and glutardialdehyde) as active ingredients. |
