PURPOSE:To obtain a cholesterol adjustor useful for health, improving use of nutritive components, raising HLD cholesterol, bettering arteriosclerosis index, comprising a specific chitosan. CONSTITUTION:The cholesterol adjustor comprises a chitosan having a particle size of >=50% particles passing through 80 meshes. An oral dose of the adjustor is preferably 0.5-5g per person daily and preferably 0.1-25W/W% (based on the whole amount of food) of the adjustor is added to a food such as bread to give a food for regulating cholesterol. |
