<p>PURPOSE:To maintain favorable paper feeding conditions by preventing variation in the paper feeding pressure by providing a torque regulating means for regulating the rotation of a lever, on the lever for supporting a paper feeding roller with shaft. CONSTITUTION:A lever 5 is mounted on a main body so that it can be freely rotated around a rotational support shaft 5a as a center, and the gear of the end 5b of the lever 5 bites into a gear provided on the outer periphery of a torque regulating means 6. A gear 7 is provided on a paper feeding roller shaft 5c of the other end of the lever 5, and a paper feeding roller 4 is driven through a relay gear 8. The torque of the torque regulating means 6 is regulated only when it is rotated in the direction (a), and is freely rotated when it is rotated in the direction (b). The spring constant of a compressed coil spring 2 is determined so that a fixed paper feeding pressure is applied to a decalcomania paper sheet of maximum size. While the size of the decalcomania paper sheet becomes smaller and its weight is reduced, the paper feeding pressure is increased and a bottom plate 3 is lifted. At the time, the lever 5 is rotated in the direction (c) and the torque regulating means 6 is rotated in the direction (a), and they stopped at a point where the paper feeding pressure and the torque balance with each other, to maintain a fixed level of the paper feeding pressure.</p> |
