PURPOSE:To improve the density irregularity of a recording image by using the drive data used in one unit of the movement of a recording head by a moving means in a moving unit of N times (N >=2) to distribute the same so that density to be used becomes 1/N and supplying the distributed data to a head driving means at every one unit of movement to set a supply speed to N times or less. CONSTITUTION:The moving means 1 of recording heads 2a-2d and head drivers 24a-24d are controlled by a control circuit 16 and drive data used in one unit of the movement of the recording heads by the moving means 1 is used in a moving unit of N times (N >=2) to be distributed so that density to be used becomes 1/N and the distributed drive data is supplied to the head drivers at every one unit of movement and a supply speed and the moving speeds of the recording heads are set to at least N times or less. As a result, the lowering of a recording speed can be prevented while the density irregularity of a recording image is improved. |
